Each year, State 38 Distilling celebrates Colorado Day with the release of a one-of-a-kind Colorado Day Whiskey on Aug. 1, honoring the state that inspired our name as the 38th state. Join us for an exclusive Behind the Barrel Experience, where a select group of whiskey lovers will get an early taste of the 2026 Colorado Day Whiskey and the rare opportunity to bottle it by hand before its official release. With limited tickets available, this intimate event is your chance to be among the first to experience and secure this year’s special release.

Colorado Day Experience

After our Friday Behind the Barrel Experience sold out in record time, we're opening one final Behind the Barrel Experience on Saturday, July 18. With only 20 tickets available, this is your last chance to enjoy this exclusive behind-the-scenes whiskey experience and be among the first to taste and bottle our 2026 Colorado Day Whiskey.
State 38 Cocktail Class
Sat. July 25 | 4:00-5:30pm
Join us for an evening under the still and barrels to learn how to create two signature State 38 cocktails. Come learn the history behind State 38 Distilling and how we make our wide portfolio of spirits and taste two spirits of your choice. We will then lead you through the creation of two signature cocktails. The cocktails for this class will include the Green Beast (Absinthe) and the Whiskey Sour. Each individual will get to take home a State 38 tasting glass.
Colorado Day Whiskey Release

Join us Friday, July 31 from 4-9pm at State 38 Distilling as we celebrate the release of our 6th Annual Colorado Day Whiskey—a limited-edition Bourbon Whiskey finished in a Cherry Vanilla barrel. Enjoy handcrafted Colorado Day cocktails, delicious eats from Mischief Pizza, sweet treats, music, and shopping from local favorites including Saintly Fine Jewelry. Meet label artist Jesse Crock and have your bottle signed, enjoy custom caricatures by Deb, and bring the whole family—kids activities and outdoor games make this a fun-filled celebration for all ages, and pets are welcome outside. Bottles are limited, so come raise a glass with us and celebrate!

Join State 38 Distilling at The Original Evergreen Farmers Market every Tuesday from June through September, from 10 AM–2 PM. Nestled in the foothills at Hiwan Park, this vibrant market is the perfect place to shop local and discover Colorado-made goods. Stop by the State 38 booth to learn about our handcrafted spirits, and bring home a bottle or 3-pack to enjoy long after market day.
