Colorado Day is always one of our favorite traditions, and this year’s celebration is even more special. Join us on Friday, July 31, from 4–9 PM at State 38 Distilling in Golden as we celebrate Colorado Day and unveil our 6th Annual Colorado Day Whiskey. With handcrafted cocktails, local food and vendors, music, and family-friendly fun, it’s the perfect way to toast the state that inspired our name as the 38th state.
And in 2026, there’s even more to celebrate. Colorado is commemorating 150 years of statehood alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States, making this year’s Colorado Day festivities especially meaningful.
Introducing the 2026 Colorado Day Whiskey
Each year, we create a unique, limited-edition whiskey to honor Colorado and its adventurous spirit. For 2026, we’re excited to release a Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in a Cherry Vanilla barrel, creating a rich and distinctive whiskey worthy of the occasion.
Every Colorado Day release also features a custom label created by Golden native artist Jesse Crock. His original Colorado landscapes have become part of the tradition, making each annual bottle a collectible tribute to our home state.
