Introducing Our 2025 Winter Whiskey: A Toast to the Season

Each winter, State 38 Distilling releases a limited-edition whiskey that captures the spirit of the season — and this year’s release may be our most exceptional yet. We’re proud to introduce the 2025 Winter Whiskey, an American Single Malt aged six years and finished in a port wine barrel, offering rich, smooth notes with a touch of smoky sweetness.

Crafted with care and patience right here in Golden, Colorado, this whiskey embodies everything we love about winter — warmth, depth, and a touch of indulgence. Bottled at 102 proof, it’s bold yet balanced, perfect for sipping fireside, gifting to the whiskey lover in your life, or sharing with friends during the holidays.

Join us Friday, November 21st from 4–7 PM at the distillery for the official release party! Guests can be among the first to taste and purchase bottles of this limited-edition whiskey before it’s gone. Bottles will be available for $89 each. Quantities are very limited, and this small-batch release will not be restocked once sold out.

You can also find our Winter Whiskey at our pop-up shop at the Cherry Creek Holiday Market, located on Fillmore Plaza. We’ll be there from 11 AM – 9 PM on November 21st and 22nd, and every day leading up to Christmas Eve, offering bottles, gifts, and holiday cheer.
