State 38 Distilling 2023 Winter Whiskey Release

State 38 Distilling is excited to announce the launch of our 3rd Annual Holiday Whiskey. We will be launching our new winter release on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the State 38 Distilling tasting room in Golden, CO. This year’s winter release is a Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in a Stout Beer Barrel from New Terrain Brewing Company in Golden, CO.

This 2023 Holiday Whiskey is bottled at barrel strength of 100 proof.  The first scent of this incredible whiskey provides notes of freshly candied almonds and caramel with a smooth transition to a hop forward stout beer on the initial taste.  The mid pallet provides a bounce between hops and sweet toasted marshmallows, with a spicy finish of chocolate, cinnamon and toasted marshmallow.  This whiskey is perfect for the upcoming cold weather and best enjoyed around a alpine campfire with some of your best stout beer loving friends.
