State 38 Distilling turns 10 Years Old!!

(Golden, CO) April 2023 – State 38 Distilling is turning 10 years old and we couldn’t be more excited. State 38 Distilling is a Golden, CO distillery that produces State 38 Whiskeys, Hacedor Agave Spirits, and Damn Smooth Spirits. State 38 was founded in April 2013 and pays homage to Colorado, the 38th State.

In honor of us turning 10.....we are so excited to release our special single barrel, 10th Anniversary Straight Rye Whiskey. This unique barrel proof release was originally barreled in July 2016 and takes you on a journey of the senses that is uniquely satisfying. The tasting notes offer fresh ground cinnamon with aged leather on the nose. Caramel with a balance of cinnamon and cayenne on the pallet, and fresh vanilla with a hint of oak as it finishes.

The distillery is celebrating by hosting a big event on April 14-15, 2023 in the tasting room. Join us from 4-7pm Friday and Saturday night for our special release party. You will be able to get your hands on limited quantities available of the 10th Anniversary Straight Rye bottles. There will also be fun prizes to win such as State 38 t-shirts and hats.

Happenings: Our special release party will have limited quantities available of the 10th Anniversary Straight Rye Whiskey (Bottles - $79). There will also be fun prizes to win such as State 38 t-shirts and hats. Winners will be drawn at 6:30pm each evening and you must be present to win!

The 10th Anniversary Straight Rye Whiskey will be available for sale at the distillery only, for $79 a bottle.

Come experience a tour, taste our spirits, enjoy a cocktail, and take a bottle home to share.
