Tabletop Christmas Trees
There has never been a better time of the year not only to cap it of and celebrate the joys of the season, but to do some home decorating as well. At the center of it all is the traditional Christmas tree that Christians around the world look forward to in setting up days or even weeks before Christmas eve. A Christmas tree never fails to light up any room during the holiday season. Not only is it the central focus of a jubilant season, but a showcase of the creative talent that comes out at this time of the year.
Where to Use Them
But in today’s cramped living spaces, you don’t always get the luxury of extra space to set up a traditional floor standing Christmas tree as you may not be able to rearrange your furniture to accommodate one. Condos and apartments in the cities often don’t have the space. And even if you can, it would be a hustle to do so and then restoring the furniture arrangement after the holidays.
Good thing there are small tabletop Christmas trees that create an alternative reminder that it’s the time of year to celebrate. Office cubicles and rooms can likewise benefit from small Christmas trees you can put on shelves and tables. School rooms have been known to deploy tabletop Christmas trees that students decorate creatively for their teacher’s tables.
Different Table Top Christmas Trees
- There are naturally grown ornamental plants called bonsai used as decorative tabletop items that are specially cut to look like Christmas trees. They present a creative challenge to spruce up and often are quite expensive coming from your florists. But once decorated, they make lovely ornaments to your shelf or table.
- Natural pine cut at the topmost end may seem like a waste on a good pine tree, but there are small pine trees grown for this purpose. Usually ranging in size from diminutive 2ft to 4ft tall, they can easily look like miniature Christmas trees on your table.
- Artificial Christmas are the most common tabletop Christmas trees you can find in malls and department stores. They are constructed no different from the standard floor standing models but only offered from 1ft to 3ft tall. They are the easiest to decorate and are often marketed pre-lit with LEDs and pre-decorated.
- Specially constructed Christmas trees made of very thin plastic straws with polished ends that look lighted using the laser light principle where a light source at the base projects the light into the polished end of each straw. They make excellent tabletop Christmas trees without any further trimming.
A Fine Gift Idea
Tabletop Christmas trees make excellent gift ideas. You could have them delivered like any flower bouquets from a florist or home décor shop. Any home with a standard floor standing Christmas tree won’t mind having a smaller version in a room or two.
