...that nothing you've cited comes from the Clinton for President web site. And if you're not, it's time for you to stop posting. You can always find crazy people saying crazy things on the web, have you seen the postings about how Hillary Clinton murdered Vince Foster? My post was about how the Obama campaign responds to the Clinton campaign, not about how the ignorant fringe on both sides of the debate embarass themselves on the unregulated internet...

Take a look at Hillary's website

and tell me this isn't racists.

This is the behind the scene Barack Hussein Obama [Arab-Black-American(?)] - Devil mask (click below), see this fairy tale is true. Of course theres a question mark following American cause when blacks leave behind a Legal State Residence from Kansas to any state they use their maternal grandparent address making it appear as though they are Legal Residents and have the right to vote and get out and protest thinking they are Black so why shouldn't they participate in the Black Voter Sufferage thus making themselves coherse. What a fairy tale offers is near the same, depiction of everything on a scale of cohesion and being sureal maintaining the theme. How relevant are those Black citizens, are learning they have no Legal State Residence likened to the Jews in Europe that were persecuted by all Europeans as they had no homeland they could claim, No Legal State Residence, while Zionists were their brotherens to aid their lifestyle only to be slaves uder the German regime feared by Russia once Germany got free of their bondage. So it is, Blacks claim America as a homeland but preach for the African Blacks so they belong in America, few go to Africa and preach for the American-Blacks so they belong that is the issue here as African-Blacks seem to feel they dominate the Black Kingdom (Superior of a Black Race) and should therefore not offer their Africa to American-Blacks regardless if they are children or adults they make no cohesion of Blackness as have candidates for Presidency like Barack Hussein Obama whom would have had a African Heritage had his parents not had a maternal grandparent in Hawaii to lean on and take advantage of before they were married and then they had the nerve to get a divorce leaving Barack Hussein Obama Jr. as the misfit Black child of the universe. He has a right to complain but he should complain not to the American people because he is Black, he should go to Afric and complain that he thinks he is American cause of his maternal grandmother, his Islamic-African-Black Heritage and his love of Africa as a boy during his five years in school in Jakarta, Indonesia where he did have a half-Indonesian half-sister who is married to a Chinese-Canadian and a Indonesian stepfather. This issue betrays American Trusts worldwide in a mighty big way because Obama has been to Muslim Wahabi school in Jakarta, Indonesia [Wahabism is the radical teachings that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. From the picture I have seen Mr. Barack Hussein Obama Sr. don't look much like a goat herder [a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya]. We cannot deport Barack Hussein Obama Jr. for his inappropriate behavior its to good for American-Blacks to imagine what a fairy tale dream is when they are half nots of African and wonder what if they had Africa instead of America to care for. Do they care or are they just antagonists without a heart working to only feed their families and to belong to the Black gender pushing the white dust from beneath their feet only to realize they drown in their own sweet sweat. Why should the Superior Black-Africans offer Afirca to the American-Whites if they see the America-Whites as the unwanted peoples, unwanted rulers, unloved mates of the Black-Americans.

While it may have begun with the right-wing, it seems some on the left have no problem perpetuating it for their political gain.
And there are many more like this one:
http://connect.hillaryclinton....
http://connect.hillaryclinton....
This is my favorite:

Barack Hussein Obama is one of those dynamic communicators. HE WAS BORN A MUSLIM ACCORDING TO ISLAM HE IS A MUSLIM.
What if Obama is engaged in Pious Fraud? This is a Muslim practice of pretending not to be Muslim to further the cause of Islam or to "defend the faith". Hudaibiyah treaty: "kiss the hand of your enemy until you can cut it off" http://freerepublic.com/...
OR DID OBAMA EVER DENOUNCE HIS ISLAM FAITH AND BECOME A CHRISTIAN? IF HE TRULY DID THAN HE WOULD BE CONSIDERED AN APOSTATE MUSLIM AND AS SUCH IT IS THE DUTY OF ANY MUSLIM HE MEETS TO BEHEAD HIM. THERE IS NO DISPUTE AMONG EITHER ANCIENT OR MODERN MUSLIM SCHOLARS THAT UNDER ISLAMIC LAW, A MURTADD, "ONE WHO TURNS HIS BACK ON ISLAM," AN APOSTATE, MUST BE PUT TO DEATH. THAT MEANS THAT 25% OF THE WORLD'S POPULATION WOULD WANT TO DESTROY HIM. WOULD HE BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE MIDDLE EAST OR WORK WITH MUSLIMS WHO LIVE IN THE US. BY QU'RAN TEACHINGS, HE IS AN APOSTATE (HIS FATHER WAS A MUSLIM HIS MOTHER WAS A MUSLIM HIS BROTHERS, SISTERS AND GRANDPARENTS WERE/ARE MUSLIMS).
Obama's Family; ALL Muslims

http://connect.hillaryclinton....
http://connect.hillaryclinton....
Clinton's campaign, as perpetuated recently through Ferraro, are trying to frame him as this character; as the Reagan Welfare Queen if you will. There are many cases of Hillary not denying Obama's faith, and I have personal knowledge of friends who are campaigning for Hillary that will not deny using any of this to their advantage.
Do not tell me Obama IS playing the race card and claim Hillary is all but innocent. This is the ugliest form of campaigning on the part of a Democrat I have ever seen in my life.

Like the attack from ColObama. When called on an old school attack, ColObama attacks old school. I am not with the Clinton campaign, just a voter disgusted by the Obama attack mail. I am now more convinced than ever to steer clear of Chicago's frontman Barack. As for a copy of the hit mailers, get them from your own campaign and post them. I will not repeat your attacks for you. Strange that I have not seen any mail from Clinton or Edwards. Must be lack of Rezko real estate deal cash: http://www.suntimes.com/news/p...
PS Since I am sure I am not the only recipient of the Obama attack mailers, questioning the existence of the mailers kills your credibility.

Proof vs. Rhetoric

Are you going to show the direct mail piece to add any substantial proof to back up your claims, or just leave this post with empty rhetorical attacks such as the "21st Century version of the Chicago political machine."
I have plenty of examples to prove a point of this being true of the Clintons, and from sources such as the President of NOW flipping her endorsement to Obama from Clinton due to the "typical hatchet job. Inaccurate, hypocritical and mean-spirited" mailers the Clinton campaign has been using against Obama.

Sorry if I don't take your word on this but it seems like just another typical smear straight from the Clinton Campaign; nothing new about that.

Latest Dem Presidential line from the Fix

Hate to say I told you so, but this race is close and the early state races matter more than national polls:
Chris Cillizza's Blog on Friday

3. John Edwards: The former North Carolina Senator has proven many of his persistent doubters wrong by keeping Iowa a three-way race right until the end. The question is whether he can do more than just remain relevant. Edwards' message -- we need to grab power away from entrenched interests -- is not only the sharpest of any of the Big 3, it's also the most easy for voters to digest. The potential problem for Edwards is whether voters see him more as a community activist and less as a president. (Previous ranking: 3)
2. Barack Obama: Months and months ago when analysts like The Fix were publicly wondering whether Obama's deficit in national polls meant that the excitement over his candidacy had lagged, his campaign assured us all that national polls didn't matter. They were right. Obama's focus on Iowa and New Hampshire has paid major dividends. The more attention voters have paid, the better the Illinois Senator has performed. So why is Obama not number one on the Line? Because over the past week former Sen. John Edwards (N.C.) has moved up rather than down in Iowa, defying predictions about his staying power (or lack thereof) made by many within the Obama senior leadership. As long as Edwards remains relevant, which he clearly is, the less this is a two-person race and the more problematic it is for Obama to coalesce the anti-Clinton vote. (Previous ranking: 2)
1. Hillary Rodham Clinton: Ever since she won the Des Moines Register endorsement, Clinton's campaign seems to be on the upswing. The talk of fights within her inner circle have largely subsided (although the Wall Street Journal's Monica Langley does a bang-up job of sussing out the origins of the warm and cuddly Clinton) and the candidate is driving home the strength and experience message in the final week before the Iowa caucuses. If she can win Iowa, we believe the race is very likely over as the sense of an inevitable Clinton nomination will be restored and the currently close race in New Hampshire will shake out. (Previous ranking: 1)

CD 06 could be a 2012 post redistricting target, but that is doubtful. Redistricting is an exercise in protecting incumbents. Does anyone see Perlmutter or DeGette offering to cut their Democratic registration and performance advantages for the slight prospect of a Dem pick-up in CD 6? It is more likely that CD 01 and CD 07 will poach Dem voters from CD 06 and dump Rep voters into CD 06. In six years, looking back, ADA Winter will be seen as the top of a long list of third tier Dem candidates to run in the 6th. Winter should focus on CD 01.

These voters didn't choose to leave the GOP; they were purged by the county election offices. All counties ran aggressive purges of inactive voters after the 2006 election; these voters, from all parties, are the ones that got knocked off the file for lack of activity.

It is encouraging that we closed the overall registration gap, but this seat is as close to unwinnable as you can get.

Winter ran against the nutball of all nutballs, and still got crushed. Heck, back in 2000, Ken Toltz raised over $1 million and got decimated.

CD5 was 46% GOP, and look what happened to Fawcett, a good challenger running against an absolute idiot.

Nope, save our resources, win the Senate for Udall, hope that Markey can put CD4 into play for us, and deliver 9 EV's to the nominee. CD6 just ain't gonna happen.

Anyone but Gordon?

Ken Gordon has to be considered the front runner. He has a long history of fair-minded legislating and campaigning and a deep knowledge of the office and its capabilites. If Denver hadn't screwed up the voting, he'd already have the job.

That said, I don't know if Governor Ritter likes him or trusts him. They go way back in Denver political circles. Does anyone know if there is bad blood? I don't believe KG endorsed Bill in the primary, but he was running his own race.

Another thought is that Governor Ritter could find a moderate, respected Republican to take the place of Coffman. This could help bolster his bipartisan credentials. Any vacancy replacement would be after the presidential election, so the races that it will impact would be any 2009 tax-related ballot initatives and his own re-election in 2010.

This option is probably even more likely if the Dems win the presidency and/or Colorado.

CD-6 is not CD-5

Presidential year turnout is always higher than other years. What's important here is the trend, that Rs are losing faster than Ds.

Although I didn't post the numbers from CD-5, both Dems and Rs in CD-5 lost over 10% of their numbers since 2004. Thus, no Democratic trend in that district.

While the Dems aren't picking up voters, this trend points to the dissastifaction that a lot of folks have with the Republican party. CD-6 lacks both the military bases and wingnut religous camps that assure a solid Republican vote. The CD-6 unaffilates and Republicans are much less conservative than CD-5. Think fiscally-conservative soccer moms versus the Dobson zealots. The SOS numbers bear that out.

I agree with you that CD-6 is a reach for Dems, but it's easier than CD-5. It's also a potential pick up after the 2010 reapportionment, per my comment above.

Sorry, have to disagree with your conclusion

First, everyone is losing voters. If the Dems were adding voters then you might be onto something.

Second, the percentages are still way off: 45% GOP, 31% unaffiliated, and only 24% Dem. I'm not sure but I believe that's even more lopsided than CD-5 was last year, and we saw what happened when a serious, well-qualified moderate Dem went head to head with a slipshod wingnut Repub in The Year of the Democrat.

Granted, things are shifting in CD-6 and I think it may be competitive someday. But I think it's many years, maybe even decades, from being truly competitive.

Of course that's their best

the republicans run on talking points, key phrases and zingers http://www.denverpos... , on the sole purpose of making government look bad in any scenario regardless of teh facts

Shawn Mitchell shamelessly writes in talking points http://www.denverpos... even after the Colorado republicans hollow talking points list was exposed http://colorado.medi...

And now we have Senate Republican'ts touting a "new education agenda" on old bills with the same message and added twist.

The lawmakers chided the governor and the legislature's ruling Democrats for failing to act on education and other key issues while deferring instead to a seemingly endless succession of blue-ribbon commissions and study groups.

"The most pressing problems facing our education system don't need more study. They need action," Assistant Senate Republican Leader Nancy Spence of Centennial said. "We are proposing practical solutions that really work for Colorado's schools."
http://www.colorados...

The real republican agenda is not for government to improve (Don't study anything!) and learn what the best path to take is, but rather they would have us dive in head first to privatize, standardize and shrink government to the point that you can drown it in a bathtub, and the Colorado republicans have ve tried with TABOR, Vouchers, Charter Schools, etc. etc.

So I guess it really depends on what one consideres success. Perhaps the republicans have been succesful of manipulating the debate, messaging, and slothliness (that should be a Corbert Word of the Day!).
